Black and White. A two piece forged helmet scull with narrow flanged comb and decorative side stripes, a peak worked en suite, and a riveted neck guard with a stamped Nuremberg acceptance mark and inventory number "1248". There is a riveted iron plume socket at the nape of the neck. Large cheek pieces with stamped ear holes. Delicately flanged and braided rims with embossed, black and white wave decoration. Height: 27 cm.
